Transtibial prosthesis for recreational in-line skating

The master thesis deals with the engineering design and realization of a transtibial prosthesis for recreational in-line skating. The first part of thesis summarize background information about skating. The next part analyzes the kinematics of ankle joint based on gained information and own measurement by Motion capture method in Kinovea software. The thesis continues with realization of more versions of prosthesis followed by testing with patient. Finally, the thesis discus measured data.
In-line skating of preschool children

The aim of the diploma thesis is to find out, if preschool kid is able to pick up the in-line skating and to find out, if this activity is used among preschool kids in school or out of school form. The conditions for in-line skating in certain location is also researched. The methodology for teaching in-line skating of preschool kids is also made. The methodology is based on experiment. The main research issue of this thesis is to find out the realization of in- line skating with preschool kids. First chapter deals with general information about in-line skating, such as history of this sport, division into various branches and proper equipment. Second chapter informs about the connection between in-line skating and health. There are pros and cons which influence person's life, characterization of preschool age, motor development and what the appropriate age for children to start is. Third chapter is focused on technique and methodology of in-line skating. Practical part deals with the evaluation of the mastering level of in-line skating among preschool kids, which is researched with questionnaire and experiment. In the introduction of theoretical part, a sport discipline In line skating is described. Legislative aspect together with use of cycle paths is considered.The second chapter describes system of cyclopaths in the cities. Following chapters are describing the concept of parks and cyclopaths development in the rural area until 2020. Next, the work establishes criteria for evaluation of locations discussed in charter 5. Theoretical part of this work discusses in chapter six general rules for cyclopaths and park use. In chapter seven traffic signalization and in line skaters' equipment are discussed. Further chapters focus on sport and safety equipment. In the end of theoretical part of chapter ten and eleven I comment on particularities of in line skating education for children 7- 10 years old. Practical part describes mapping and evaluation of 10 selected cyclopaths located on the left side of Vltava River and close surroundings in chapter 12-13. Chapter 14 is dedicated to in-line skating and its categories. In the end of the practical part, the structure and methodology of teaching lesson of in-line skating is depicted together with description of basics of in line skating. Changes in level of balance after in-line preparation

Title: Changes in level of balance after in-line preparation Objective: The aim of this thesis is to observe the changes in balancing abilities of students of FTVS after two month of in-line preparation. Methods: This thesis is quantitative scientific research, a quasi experiment and several methods were used in it. The method of literary research and the analysis of professional documents for processing the theoretical part of the thesis. Next, in the practical part, active observation, questioning and laboratory testing using the Footscan pressure plate. Results: By doing laboratory tests on the Footscan device, it was found that the level of balancing abilities of the students changed after two months of in-line preparation. Their balance improved. According to the established hypotheses, it was found that two out of four designated tests have statistical significance. Thanks to this thesis, we can say that in-line skating is an appropriate physical activity for improving not only fitness, but other motor abilities as well. Design and creation of fitness tutorial for children in the "In-line skating"

The objective of this Bachelor thesis is to suggest and create fitness teaching programme for children and youth in the in-line skating. Information used in the beginning is taken from professional literature and utilized for creating the fitness teaching programme afterwards. Theoretical part is devoted to fitness training, each parts of fitness preparation and rules of training children and youth. The teaching programme is adjusted according to the needs of children and youth. The programme was used on a group of older youngsters players of ice-hockey as fitness training by using in-line skates. The main aim of the programme is improvement of physical activity and general endurance.
In-line tracks

Title: In-line tracks in the Central Bohemian Region Objective: The aim of this bachelor thesis is to analyze conditions for recreational ride on in- line in the Central Bohemian Region, connected with cultural-cognitive component of tourism. Methods: This bachelor thesis is qualitative research and in this thesis have been used several methods. The method of literature review and analysis of professional documents for processing the theoretical basis of work, furthermore the participant observation based on predetermined criteria and parameters for the practical part of the thesis. Results: After personal crossing of all tracks a total of 67 tracks were evaluated as suitable for in-line skating in the Central Bohemian Region. There were 4 tracks longer than 10 km, 14 medium tracks which were long between 3 - 10 km and 49 short tracks with distance between 1 - 3 km. The whole-day trip which has fulfilled all parts of tourism was suggested on the route Poděbrady - Nymburk - Poděbrady 19. This track was 19 km long.
